MD2000 HD270 Coax
HD Transport Over 270Mbps Infrastructure
|
|
The HD270 Coax video transport system compresses and transports HD SDI signals over 270Mbps networks and offers outstanding video quality at incredibly low latency. Through the use of slice-based MPEG-2 encoding, the entire process of encoding and decoding adds less than 10 milliseconds of end-to-end delay to the video signal. The encoder design generates a standards-compliant elementary stream operating at over 200 Mbps, providing extremely high video quality. The HD270 Coax video transport runs on the MD2000 Series frames.
MD-6000 Video Transport System
The MD-6000 is a video transport system that enables long haul transport of high quality uncompressed video signals over SDH / SONET (OC-48 / STM-16 and OC-192 / STM-64) networks. By interfacing directly to a telco network, The MD6000 simplifies network configuration by eliminating the need for codec equipment required by alternative video transport systems. The system utilizes multi-format video modules that accept uncompressed HD and SD video signals, as well as DVB-ASI and SDTI signals. An optional board combines a STM-1 (155Mbps) and a DVB ASI (Max 90Mbps) input signal and transports a 270Mbps payload to a 2.5G or 10G network interface card. Redundant interface cards can be configured to enable hitless switching to a protection circuit in the event of a circuit failure. The MD6000 also features automatic error detection and correction and centralized SNMP management software.
